The guys did great last night finishing in 2 hours and 13 minutes! Off to celebrate with lunch at Casey's!

Well, the guys did a great job! After hanging out at the after party for the runners, we are wiped. Time for us to catch some sleep!

After a nice dinner at Cape May, we are back up at the room. Joe should have just started the race! My parents will be watching Abby while I go with Mike

's best friend to the finish line. Then the after party for the runners!

Back at the hotel to rest.

A walk around the festival welcome center, some wine (a bottle for Abby) an some shopping. Now we are off to the photopass shop to buy pictures of Abby!

After a stop to visit the baby care center, we are now in Innovations waiting for Abby to get her picture taken with the characters!

Pecan bread pudding from USA? Amazing! now it's time to try the apple strudel with caramel sauce from Germany..

Just had waffles with berry compote and iced coffees with Godiva liquer from the new Belgium booth... I'm in love!

Day 2- we're off!

It's time for the princess to get some rest, so we're on our way back to the room. Good night!

After walking around Epcot we are now at the Boardwalk looking for dinner :)

Round one

Well we've had a great day the Food and Wine Festival. We made our way around the World Showcase sampling many things. We didn't do dessert on this round, that will be for later. So far our favorites (in particular order) are:
-the lobster and scallop fisherman's pie from Ireland. Sooo good.
-beef tenderloin with sweet potato purée from South Africa. It was amazing, but the sauce was a bit spicy for me.
-bison chili from USA. I didn't have it due to the spice level, but everyone else loved it.
-spetzele gratin with ham and cheese from Germany.
-black pepper shrimp with Sichuan noodles (too spicy for me) from China
- and the potstickers from China (always a favorite).

As so far as drinks, we've enjoyed glasses of prosecco, champagne, and beers from Singapore, Germany, USA, and Canada. Wines we have tasted so far came from France, South Africa, Germany, and Italy. Additional alcohol beverages were sampled from Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the United States.

Phew! I think that's it for now. We will be heading back to the parks in a bit. More soon!

We got up leisurely this morning and had breakfast in the room. Now we are ready to hit up the food and wine festival!
